About Story

Story comes to us from a very special breeding done by Arcane Border Collies. Her sire, River, has an impressive pedigree, coming from some very influential Australian lines and her dam, Lex, is related to some of the top US show dogs that I heavily admire. Story very quickly finished her Championship with large back-to-back 5 point majors. She has been lightly specialed to complete her Bronze Grand Championship with multiple group placements along the way. Her structure is moderate and balanced which is reflected in her picture-perfect movement.

While she does enjoy the show ring, Story's true love is sports - particularly agility. She is a very fun dog to run, as she is quick and independent. She is very naturally talented and is currently competing in Masters Level across all AKC classes and has also explored UKI and USDAA, which we hope to do more of. Story also loves rally, dock diving, scent work, disc, FastCATs, and barn hunt. She excels at every sport I have tried with her and is such a versatile dog, often competing in multiple sports in the same day at cluster shows.

Equally important, Story is a great pet. She is easy to live with and has a natural off-switch. She can easily go days without significant activity, but is always happy to turn it on when we are ready to do something. She is possibly the happiest dog I have every owned and always wins over new friends. She is neutral around other dogs and animals, and has never shown any signs of reactivity or aggression. She has a very balanced temperament and thrives in new scenarios with confidence.
